Slavic Bridal Traditions

After the ceremony the newlyweds walk through the streets of the town, with people throwing seedlings of corn, pastries and cash for happiness and prosperity. They also quit at native monuments and offer gift. The wedding ceremony is supervised by a master of ceremonies called a» Tamada». He is a boisterous companion who runs the several contests.

When the bride leaves her parents ‘ property, she takes with her a shawl that she should keep, not to give away or let people touch.
